Project Summary

My background and research interests lie in the fields of organizational sociology, higher education research, and, in particular, research funding. Therefore, my Ph.D. project’s focus will be ‘The Impact of Research Funding’ (working title). In this study, I will explore the distribution of research funding and its influence on the content and direction of universities within the German higher education system from 1990 to 2018.
